This scent represents "The Bloom" of Seneca Village.
Seneca captures the village in its flourishing years — a time of growth, community, and hope. By the 1830s and 1840s, Seneca Village had become a haven for African American landowners, many of whom were free from slavery and seeking refuge from the overcrowded and discriminatory conditions of downtown Manhattan.

The community grew to include over 200 residents, along with three churches, a school, and gardens tended with care. Many families owned their homes — a rare and powerful achievement at the time — and the land became a source of both sustenance and pride. Fruit trees, vegetable plots, and blooming flowers filled the landscape, symbolizing independence, resilience, and self-reliance.

This fragrance expresses that thriving era — not just through scent, but through emotion.
